Consult About ...-- Shirley's America Travel Diary 136 & 552nd Friendly Greeting - March 19, 2017

How are you? Have you had a good week? Are you enjoying your weekend? .

This is just a short note to say Hello to you and to keep in touch with you; also, this is a short letter to consult a problem on American State Birds.

As I had told you in my last letter that since Feb 19, I have started to create My American State Birds Series the third time according to My First & Second Design which I did May to July in Beijing in 2016 and would like to complete in the USA in 2017.

Even though a lot of unexpected accidents happened to me in the end of 2016 so that I could not start it until Feb 19, I have completed 21 birds of the 113 birds.

Something now confused me is that I am not sure I should just paint the state birds of Nevada with the light gray and white bellies or I should paint the female birds with brown chests? I know its state bird is mountain blue bird, but I do not know it is just the male mountain blue bird or both of the male and female mountain blue birds?

With the same problem, I am also confusing on the state birds of Idaho.

I have checked much data about it, but the pictures I have collected are just the male mountain blue birds with the light grey and white chests and bellies.

Do you know it should be both or not? Could you please let me know your idea about it?

To be honest, if they are both, I will be glad to change some of the birds with brown chests and it will be better to look after the colors of the other birds around of them. Right?

Although I do not satisfy the birds which I have done for Nevada and Alaska yet, for I do not think I should paint so many mountain blue birds for the Nevada State and I do not think I should use Chinese Mogu Painting Style to paint the birds for Alaska, I am going to continue to work on the other states’ bird but re-create them after I complete whole of the creating jobs 3rd times.

Jinan University Press has sent two versions of their cover designs for my publications and asked my opinions. What is your comments about it? If you were me, which one would you like to choose?

Anyway, both of my birds and the cover designs are below and hope to bring you a big smile and hope to get your friendly responding. :-)

I am just a student on Arts of Painting, Music, English and Management, to work on the web site in my free time. I would really like to do somethings with what I have learned to make this little web site to be an Electronic Bridge of Cross - Culture and Comprehensive Arts, Language & Friendship. To help the others and this world while improving myself and realizing my own value of life.

I would really like to appreciate you for your understanding, directions, supports and help.

If you have any questions, comments or suggestions, you are welcome to write to shirley@ebridge.cn or leave your message on Message Board.
