About the Web Site

Hello, I am Shirley Yiping Zhang. I was born in Beijing and have studied at 7 universities in China and the United States, obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Literature, a Master's degree in Business Administration, and a Master's degree in Art. I have participated in a PhD in Management at a university in the United States and obtained a DBA. Currently, I am engaged in the study and research of the relationship between Chinese art and the Chinese language in Australia.

My dream is to create a unique "cross-cultural integrated art" that combines poetry, painting, and music, and explore new ways for the mutual dissemination of Chinese and Western cultures. Therefore, from 2008 to 2021, I studied and immersed myself in the Misouri State University, Ozarks Technical Community College in the United States, the Central Academy of Fine Arts in China, and the Chinese Academy of Art for a total of 12 years. During this time, I traveled 11 times between the United States and Beijing, held 6 "Poetry, Painting, and Music Comprehensive Art Exhibitions" in the United States, and taught more than 550 hours in universities, middle schools, and primary schools, Published two volumes of "Poetry, Painting, and Music: Comprehensive Art Chinese - Together with Me, Learn Chinese and Language by Enjoying Paintings, Music and Poetry" (including two books, two CDs, and two closed websites). From 2015 to 2020, served as a guest teacher for the Chinese Art Program at four full-time schools in the United States.

Due to the impact of the pandemic for three years, my project in the United States has had to be suspended since March 2023. Fortunately, I received a PR/Green Card from Australia on Thanksgiving in 2022 and successfully arrived in Sydney, the largest seaport city in Australia, in November 2023.

During my 38 days in Sydney, I visited 20 classrooms, listened to 18 hours of Chinese language courses for local students, wrote 5 short articles, and left over 7600 words of a completed 10000 word paper (the rest for local teachers to write). In response to the requirements of a local school principal, I created 8/17 art works combining poetry, painting, and music for their teachers (including 32 lesson illustrations)

During my work, I realized that my future development direction may not only be offline, but also online. Since I have been fortunate enough to overcome the limitations of not being able to access the world's largest search engines, social media, or video websites such as Google, Facebook, YouTube, etc., I am now able to work online. Therefore, perhaps I should start my theoretical research and practice of "cross-cultural integrated art" based on websites in Australia, with poetry, painting, and music as the core, and creation, teaching, research, and platform construction as the business?

What do you think of my idea?

Anyway, we sincerely hope to receive your guidance, support, and assistance.
