Greeting

Hard Work & Happy Life -- Shirley's 139th Friendly Greeting -- Sun, May 4, 2008

How are you? I do hope that you are well, have an easy and relaxed weekend.

The Chinese May Day holiday makes this week has 3 business days only. The China’s Company Law asks listed companies to explore their yearly reports before May 1. So, our workload (as a company that is appointed by the government to publish the special information at the first time) was increased several times. Several departments worked until 1:00am or 2:00am.

Instead of working on the first line as I did, I am working on something else to improve our work efficiency. So, this week seems like a contract week for me. Except 24 business contracts have been drafted, I touched someone to make sure that our cooperated book would be printed abroad in May. I have also taken part in a job to push a new project forward.

I was suffering from a severe headache during I was working on the last job. However, I knew that our work schedule could not be changed because of my personal reason. So, with the helping of medication, I kept doing my best to smile to the guests and I kept discussing, correcting and helping the company to sign a new and important contract with them. According to the contract, a group of domestic and overseas work partners are working with us on the new project during the holiday and they will come into our company to start a new cooperation with us soon.

In my 4 day's May Day holiday, I involved myself into the English lesson of Beijing Foreign Studies University online for 2 and half day. Then I worked on my painting and music as usual. My heart was not very calm for I have faced a new choice, but, I knew what is my favorite with my own nature. So, I ordered myself to sit down to paint and I have quickly found back my peaceful heart along with the work soon. I am happy that my headache has gone as soon as I came into to my art world. I feel lucky that I have found art of painting, music and language as my enjoyment and the best medication of the health care.

How about your health, life and work? Is there anything special this week?

I am just a learner on that art of painting, music, calligraphy, languages and to work on the web site in my free time. I would really like to do a little bit things with what I have learned to make this little web site to be An Electronic Bridge Of Culture Exchange, Friendship and Language Learning. To help the others while to improve myself.

I appreciate your understanding, directions and supports. I do hope to get your friendly help...
