Greeting

Spring Is Coming with Smiles ... Shirley's 75th Friendly Greeting -- Mon, Feb 5, 2007

How are you? Have you had a good week? I do hope that everything is well with you and you are enjoying a relaxed weekend.

This week, I worked in my office for over 75 hours in the first 5 weekdays, attended a staff meeting on Saturday, corrected a work report for 14 hours on Sunday and I left my office at about 1:00 am. Our company is summarizing our work in the past 4 years and planning our work in 2007 and the coming 3 years.

Our new company has gone out of the most difficult time since the combination of the two companies. We have made both of revenue and profit to be increased continually for 3 years. We have created a qualification to apply to reform our system from a state company to be a stock company, then a listed company somewhere as more and more state companies are doing.

Chinese government is encouraging its state companies to create their qualifications to reform their systems to be stock companies, then to be listed companies abroad or interiorly. Shenzhen City government has published some local policies to encourage its enterprises to reform and to be listed companies in the Shenzhen Stock Exchange. It not only gives the better companies some favourable policies, but also it is offering some capital to the small and middle size companies and helping them to develop and create qualifications, via improving enterprises' level of management and revenue creating. To help the enterprises to be enlarged and stronger, to improve whole of the city’s economy strength!

I am really tired for the long time work overtime, even I had no time to write a private letter and to work on the web site ( If I have not responded a letter from you yet, that is just because of this reason. I do cherish every friend and every friendship, I will do my best to write back to you as soon as I can). I feel lucky and delight because the company and myself are living in a such a nice time, that China has entered into a more opening time. I am sure that, when I retire on some day, I will have a pension from the government and the shares from the company.

So, since the Culture Revolution was finished and I went to the university in 1978, I have been appreciating Mr. Deng Xiaoping and the new Chinese government to lead China people to enter a new opening and reform times from the closed situation. That is why, after Mr. Deng was gone, I took my son to send a bunch of flowers to his photo and to remember the great former leader of China.

I am confident of my country and our company. They deserve me to work hard for them. I am sure that tomorrow will be better with a more beautiful sunshine.

How do you think of your country or company? Do you think they deserve you to work hard for it?

I am just a learner on art, music, English, French and the work on the web site in my free time. Anyway, I would really like to do a little bit things with what I have learned to make this little web site to be An Electronic Bridge Of Culture Exchange, Friendship and Language Learning. During the process to help the others and to improve myself.

I do appreciate your understanding, directions and supports. I do hope to get your great help continuously now and in the coming time...
