Chinese Classical Poem 0068 & Shirley Created Music-0058: Hui Xiang Ou Shu 2 -- Casual Writing After Returning Hometown (II)

I worked on one of my research reports for about 20 hours on the weekend. So, now, I would like to offer you a Chinese classical poem and a piece of music that I have written to match it days ago and hope you enjoy them. :-) I think that maybe I will have time to create a piece of new music to match a new poem next weekend. :-)

Hi, friends, do you still remember the poem Hui Xiang Ou Shu -- Casual Writing After Returning Hometown by Tang Dynasty poet He Zhizhang? Today, I would like to introduce another poem by the same poet with the same title, but it is No. 2.

This poem expresses similar feelings when the poet just came back his home that he had left from his youth times. No.1 expresses the feeling via the local children who do not know him and wonder where he comes from as a guest. This poem writes the same feeling via to say many older friends have past away, only the water in the lake is shinning in the spring wind as same as the old times.

He Zhizhang is one of my favorite poets, I have introduced poems by him, here are the other two ones, I have made the links for you to help you to review his poems. :-)

MAIN MEANING OF THE POEMLISTEN TO SHIRLEY PLAY & SING THE POEM

I had left from my home for many years,
after coming back,
I have just known
that a half of my old friends have past away.
there is only the water in the Jing Lake by my house,
it is still shining in the spring wind as the old times...
