Since 2000, no matter where I was/am, I have been keeping writing my work or study notes in English and I have kept for more than 14 years.
So, when my classmates found I was making my notes in the classroom in English, they were surprised and many of them wished me to teach them English.
I know clear that my English is poor and I do not think that I have any qualification to teach the others. So, I thought of organizing an English corner and to share something meaningful and helpful in English.
Since we should learn from Chinese painting from learning our own traditional culture, western culture and nature, since we are in China, what is the best content relates to the Western culture for us to learn? I think of Bible. And my idea got the support of my classmates.
Then I bought all of the
The Stories of The Bible in English and in Chinese from a bookstore and put them in the classroom for my classmates to use them.
Then we started our Bible English Corner last Friday Night. While we started our Daily English (every day, I write a sentence by a famous artist in the Western art history in the classroom and teach my classmates to read and recite it ).
There are 5 people take part in the first English corner and you cannot imagine what they commented my jobs? I do not tell you now, but all of us were very happy and more people would like to join us... :-)
