Since Nov 9, my weekly English corner has worked 3 times, and the title of it has been changed to be Music English Corner.
Why?
On the first day, all of the students thought very well after studying some Stories of the Bible. However, also they found too many new words in the book. Can you imagine? Most of them had 36 - 40 new words on a half of a page ( the other half is Chinese ).
Then in the second lesson, after I played an American song
Time that was sung by Glen Campbell, and taught them how to read it. They were so interested in it and wished to learn more foreign songs. According to their actual situation, I decided to send all of them books that I had bought for them as my gifts to them, and changed the English Corner to be a Musical English Corner. To lead them to enjoy and learn foreign songs in English, and to learn world culture and English language.
Then we did on Nov 17, and Nov 21, 2014.
Can you imagine? The Music English has attracted someone from the other places. So, on Nov 21, there are 3 new students from 3 the other places, such as a girl from an art gallery, and a young man from a company next to us... Together, we learned the first part of the theme song of the Musical Drama
