Chinese Classical Poem --004: Chun Xiao

LISTEN-TEXT:

Hi, Friends, today, I would like to introduce another Chinese classical poem -- Chun Xiao for you. Chun Xiao was written by a Tang dynasty poet Meng Haoran (689 - 740). He was one of the founders of landscape genre, also to be called "Wang,Meng" with the other founder -- Wangwei together.

THE MAIN MEANING OF THE POEM:

I slept like a log in the spring night,
I did not feel it has got dawning.
The songs of birds,
Can be heard there and here,
Thinking of the wind and rain,
How many flowers have been down in the night.
