Hi friends, it is winter in America, Europe and Asia, and summer in Australia. Anyway no matter where we are, we have to face changes in the weather and I would like to offer you some new sentences to see how we talk about "Snow" in Chinese. ok?

            It is snowing!

No. 056: 这是一场大雪。

            This is a heavy snow.

No. 057: 我们被大雪å°é”在屋å­é‡Œã€‚

            We are snowed in.

No. 058:-- 雪为什么是白的?

    -- Why is snow white?
           
    -- 因为看得è§çš„阳光是白色的,而雪å射了大部分阳光。

    -- Visible sunlight is white and snow reflects most of the sunlight.   

No. 059: -- 你喜欢雪å—?
            --
Do you like/enjoy snow?   

            -- 是的, 我喜欢。我喜欢它的纯æ´ä¸Žç¾Žä¸½ã€‚

     -- Yes, I do.Ilike/enjoy its purity and beauty.


In English, SNOW is a noun and a verb. It is the same as in the ancient Chinese language. However, in modern Chinese, SNOW is a noun only so I hope you pay attention to this.
