About

At Universities and Colleges

From 2009 to 2025, I have collaborated with two universities and one college in the United States and one international college in China. In total, I have delivered presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and courses totaling approximately 80 hours on my Cross-Cultural and Integrated Art— 76 hours for American students and 4 hours for students from Southeast Asian countries, such as Indonesia, Malaysia, and Korea.

The two colleges had expressed their willingness to hire or invite me as their Chinese art instructor in 2016 and 2014, respectively; however, because I needed to pursue my MFA (Master of Fine Arts) from the China National Academy of Arts and had to undertake international trips during that period, I missed both opportunities.

1. At Two American Universities

From 2009 to 2013, I delivered presentations, demonstrations, and courses at two universities a total of nine times, totaling approximately 25 hours (including two presentations in 2013, one demonstration in 2009, and one art workshop comprising four sessions) on Cross-Cultural and Integrated Chinese Art—held at the Art Department, the Department of Language, Culture, and Religion, and the Student Union Art Gallery of Missouri State University; and one presentation and one demonstration at the Art Center and the Art Department of Drury University, respectively
.

Here are some work snippets from them:

-- November 9, 2013: I gave a presentation for a group of art teachers from the Southwest District Art Teachers Association at the Art Center, Drury University, USA.

2. At an American College and a Chinese College

From May 2010 to 2025, I offered presentations, demonstrations, and courses on Cross-cultural and Integrated Chinese Art with painting, music, and poetry 22 times for about 50 hours for both Ozarks Technical Community College, USA, and the College of International Education of Beijing Institute of Economic Management (including 8 times for about 18 hours for international students at the Adult Education Department in 2025 and 1 time for 2 hours in 2015; 4 times for about 10 hours for art and music students in the Art and Humanities Department and Music Department; 5 times for about 12 hours for community members organized by OCT Art Gallery in 2014; and 2 times for about 5 hours for members who would visit China and 3 hours for a group of Chinese-American children adopted by local Americans at the History Department of Ozarks Technical Community College in 2010; one time for 4 hours for some international students from Southeast Asian countries at the College of International Education of Beijing Institute of Economic Management in 2014).

Both Ozarks Technical Community College and the College of International Education of Beijing Institute of Economic Management would have liked to hire or invite me to be their art instructor respectively in 2016 and 2014, but because I needed to pursue my master's degree in Fine Arts from the Chinese National Academy of Arts and had to make international trips during that period, I missed both opportunities.
