Greeting

Come Back Home-- Shirley's 228th Friendly Greeting - Sun., Nov 29,2009

How are you? I do hope that you are doing well and enjoy your weekend.

This is the easiest weekend of mine since Oct 25. After looking after my mother who is suffering her cancer for 2 weeks in my third travel in Wuxi, my younger sisters flew to Wuxi to replace me, and finally, I could come back to Shenzhen and had a long sleep for 15 hours Friday night.

As soon as I recovered from the extra tired, I called my art teacher and please him to make up my missed lessons. After all, I am not sure when I will go back to Wuxi again -- one hand, all of our family members are doing our best to help my mother; the other hand, we have bought a place for her in a local graveyard, we have prepared every thing ok for her to live in the heaven.

I wished to accompany her until she goes away; I was worrying about the work in the company. After all, I had been in the US for whole of 1 year and I just came back to China. I should work hard for the company and for my country.

I wished to cook or to buy each food for my mother as I did 4 or 5 days ago, she cannot eat anything right now.

I wished to sing for her as I did 3 days ago; she cannot listen to anything with sounds at this time.

I wished to do everything for her in person as I did in the past 2 weeks; I wanted to give my sisters the last opportunities to look after our mother last time. After all, what we can do for her less and less.

Anyway, right now, my heart is peaceful, because, at her most difficult time, I was around her and I have done my best as a daughter.

Following my father's requirement, I flew back to Shenzhen and I would work hard for the company while to wait for his telephone call.

So, tomorrow, I will be in my office to work. I would really like to write a work report about our company's information system contracture since I had had many ideas when I was learning the course of Information Management in the US.

Meanwhile, many ideas have come into my mind; I would really like to create something for my parents. So, I drafted a new painting on the airplane and I have completed it on my weekend.

How about you? Do you have anything special in your life?

I am just a learner on art of painting, music and English, to work on the web site in my free time. I would really like to do a few things with what I have learned to make this little web site to be an Electronic Bridge of Culture Exchange, Chinese Language Learning & Friendship making. To help the others while to improve myself.

I would like to appreciate your understanding, directions, supports and hope to get your friendly direction and help.

If you have any questions, comments or suggestions, you are welcome to write to shirley@ebridge.cn or shirley004@yahoo.com, or to publish your opinions in the forum.
