Greeting

The 28th Friendly Greeting From Shirley, China, Sun, Feb 26,2006

How are you? Is everything well with you? I do hope that you are well and have a good weekend.

It is 9:30am. Sunday morning on my side, I have worked for about 2 hours... :-)

Have you had an experience that you had just had a sleep for 4 or 5 hours and be waken by a doorbell on Sunday? Instead of feeling bad, there were full of grateful feelings in my heart. That was a young guard in the garden around of my building, he informed me that I forgot closed a window of my car. I got up quickly to see it. After saying "Thank you" to him, I tried to turn on my car, however, I could not do that even though I could see the numbers and the signs on a small window. During I was working, a young girl called me from the Traffic Police Station. Via the GPS in my car, they found someone is touching my car and they wanted to make sure who it was. Then, she taught me to deal with the problem via the telephone. Anyway, we could not resolve it. Instead of calling insurance company, I called TOYOTA branch and asked a succor, in about 15 minutes, a young boy came and resolved my problem soon -- as a free service. He told me that in our city, we use air-condition too much, so that the battery has to be changed every 1.5 to 2 year and mine has been used for 2.5 yours. :-)

For filling more electricity, I drove my car to wash it, then to drive it with a high speed for a while. When I was through the sentry by the gate of the garden, when I was driving in the beautiful city with green trees and flowers everywhere, so many grateful feeling came into my mind. I appreciated my former company and my former bosses that had admited my value and potential to the company so that they gave me a prerogative to buy a domicile as my own estate anywhere my favorite in the city and they paid 2/3 of the cost for me --- the condition was I had to sign a contract to work for the company for 8 years :-) before I decided to "escape" back to the inland via accepting an invitation from a Shanghai company "secretly"...:-) There are so many grateful feelings to all of the people who are offering the first-class quality services for me -- a common resident in the city in the early Sunday morning… :- )

I am feeling good that I can complete the work on the web site earlier and have more time to paint for the getting up earlier. : - )

How is your feeling to live in your city or countryside? Do you enjoy the service from your city or community? Are you pride of your city or community?
I am just a learner on art, music, English and the work on the web site. Anyway, I would really like to do a little bit things with what I have learned to make this little web site to be An Electronic Bridge Of Culture Exchange, Friendship, and Language Learning. During the process to help the others and to improve myself. :-)

I do appreciate your understanding, directions and supports. I do hope to get your great help continuously now and in the coming time... I do appreciated Mr.Johnny Fox (Scotland) and Mr. Michael F. Guerra (U.S. A.) for their essaies for this weeks' Friends Works".

If you have any questions, comments and suggestions, please write to shirley@ebridge.cn , or shirleyz004@haoo.com, You are welcomed to publish your opinions in the forum, too. :-)
