02-4: Chinese Vocabulary

I created this Language column in May Day holiday -- A China's national holiday in 2005.

During the past 51 weeks, I wrote, edited, translated, introduce and recorded 115 works about Chinese language, include 35 Daily Chinese, 39 Classical Poems, 37 Contemporary Chinese Lyrics: 4 English via Chinese. Beside, I also I created 25 piece of music to match the classical poems…

At the first, I just would like to help those friends who asked me to help them on some Chinese characters. Then, I felt that maybe I could explore to create a Shirley own style to help more friends to learn Chinese language and culture via this little web site. So, now I am thinking and have created a 3-class grade Chinese learning style:

Daily Chinese: for the friends who are just beginning to learn Chinese.

Classical Poems and Contemporary Chinese Lyrics: for the friends who have had a middle Chinese language level.

English via Chinese: for the friends who have had an advanced Chinese level. :-)

Today, I would like to open a new little column for Shirley's Language -- Vocabulary in Chinese for all of the friends. To help you to listen, speak, read and write Chinese vocabulary easier. :-)

I am just learning to do this work and I am just exploring a best way to help you to learn Chinese with a quicker, easier and more convenient way. :-) So, I also need your help.

If you have any questions, comments and suggestions, please write to shirley@ebridge.cn , or shirleyz004@yahoo.com, You are welcomed to publish your opinions in Forum For Friends as well.
