This is my 14th Chinese GongBi -- Realistic Painting. Maybe you have found it is similar to the 12th one---
Let Us Go Flying . Yes, I did not think that I had dealt with the color of the stone and the composition of it as good as what I had thought in my mind. So, I started to re-paint it from Tuesday.
Do you know what I was thinking and feeling when I painted it? I felt that the flowers are something alive. They have legs to walk, have mouths to speak, have hands to hand each other. :-) You see, the red one is handing the two golden ones. Both of the golden flowers are taking their own family members or friends--maybe children, maybe brothers, maybe wives or husbands to come to see their parents or grandparents. Or maybe they are with their classmates, friends to go to see their teacher, friend and so on… :-) This is a happy flower family or a happy group of flower friends. They are celebrating the holiday time together with many smiles... :-) Maybe their laughing is making the birds to be touched, so that they want to dance with them together; Maybe their loud laugh, makes the birds to be waken, so that they have to fly away? I am not sure and leave it to you to imagine… :-) Anyway, I wanted to express out the life power of the flowers and birds and made them to be alive via my lines colors. Also, when I was painting, I felt that I was communicating with my flowers and birds. I got the feelings of calm, peaceful, delight and enjoyment... the colors are just something to express my thoughts and delight heart... my body is tired for the long time painting, my heart is singing with the delight feeling when I working on my flowers and birds :-)
I do not care for whether I can be a professional artist in 5 years or 2 years, I more enjoy the feelings during the creative process. Maybe just the communication with the great nature, maybe the wonderful feeling and enjoyment is just the motivity to support me to paint one by one for a long time? I am not very sure, but, I enjoy creative painting…
