Monday morning, I found that I could understand 100% of the first part of the new lesson on something about standard deviation, variance and normal distribution by Dr Nancy Keith -- I was so happy to see the financial management lesson by Dr Ragan and by my tutor Mr. Gong Xiaoou have built a so good foundation for my new lesson... The good heart made me want to sing, so, I sang this song for a while. Anyway, when I saw the data that I first sang it on Nov 22, 2007, I just realized that I had forgotten the 6 anniversary of my vocal music learning for the too tight studying in the past several months.

Wow! I have not had any music lesson for several months. I do miss my two music teachers, my piano and my creating job on the weekend and in the evening...

So, I decided to give myself a little time to relax and I re-translated this song, sang it and made a recording in English and in Chinese.

This is a Chinese Xinjiang folk, it expresses the feeling that how a young boy misses his beloved who has moved away suddenly. I enjoyed its tone and the feeling to use the deep breath to sing. I often think that singing is really a good exercise of breath, just like Qigong. :-)

I do hope that my singing is better than I did last Saturday on the Yunnan Folk --When the Golden Wind Is Blowing, after all, Monday evening was not the morning on the I can sing with a normal sounds. :-)

Gaelitai,
Today's a real surprise,
why do you not await me?
I come to find you with a burning heart,
you and your tent are not here.
Ah,
Gaelitai,
Gaelitai,
my beloved one.

I wander through the places you've been,
they are so desolate,
the love of my heart,
when can I see you?
how can I not miss you?
Ah,
Gaelitai,
Gaelitai,
you are my beloved!
Who can tell me,
where you have moved to?
