The Xia Dynasty (about 2070 B. C.-1600 B.C.)

The Shang Dynasty (about 1600 B. C.-1046 B. C.)

The Zhou Dynasty (1046 B. C.-256 B. C.), is divided into two periods:
—The Western Zhou Dynasty (1046 B. C.-771 B. C.)
—The Eastern Zhou Dynasty (770 B. C.-256 B. C.)
  The Eastern Zhou Dynasty, in turn, is also divided into two periods:
  The Spring and Autumn Period(770 B.C.-476 B. C.)
  The Period of Warring States(475   B. C.-221 B. C.)

The Qin Dynasty (221 B. C.-206 B. C.)

The Han Dynasty (206 B. C.-220   A.D.), is divided into two or three periods:
—The Western Han Dynasty(206 B. C. -9 A.D.)
—The Xin Dynasty (9 A.D.-23 A.D. )( Usually, people make this part into the first period)
—The Eastern Han Dynasty (25 A.D.-220 A.D. )

The Three Kingdoms (220 A.D.-280   A.D.), include three countries:

—Shu Han ( 221 A.D.-263   A.D.)
—Wu (222 A.D.-280 A.D.)

The Jin Dynasty (265 A.D.-420 A.D.), is divided into two periods:

—The Eastern Jin Dynasty (317 A.D.-420 A.D.)

The Northern and Southern Dynasties(420 A.D.-589   A.D.), included two parts:
