Dear Shirley:
Welcome back to America, I am happy that you are back in a place where you are welcome and where people already know who you are and appreciate you for the work you have done there in the past. I know that the three months of your stay will go quickly and you will have many happy memories of this part of your artistic journey. I am happy that through your friends in Springfield you were able to find a suitable apartment close to the campus of Missouri State University.
I am most happy to know that your health is good enough to make this journey and to give you another chance to visit the USA.
I send my best wishes for a most successful stay in Springfield and a wonderful experience in your teaching and artistic opportunities in a place where you are familiar with the people and the city.
