 Mr. Su is one of my best cooperators, friends, English teachers in Hong Kong.
That was the winter in 1997, when I was a department manager in a financial newspaper office. A tall and big man came into my office and introduced himself that he was a teacher in a university in Hong Kong and he just came back from Canada after taking his doctor degree. He would like to set up some cooperation with my department in mainland...
Then, we became cooperators and friends. Many times, when I did not understand something about International financial information or database or something else in my professional field, I asked Mr. Su and he always gives me a very completed answer and patient help. Many times, when I went to Hong Kong, it was him to pick up my colleagues and me in the subway station and arranged the hotels and the processes for us. We had a very good cooperation in our professional fields until now...
Mr. Su is also a very thought friend. He always helps the others with a very considerate way. Several years ago, it was not easy for people in mainland to go to Hong Kong, it was always Mr. Su to help me to deal with some things in Hong Kong. Before the customs between Hong Kong and Shenzhen could open for 24 hours, it was also Mr. Su to pick up and sent my family in Hong Kong Subway station or the International Airport鈥�
Right now, 8 years have past. Mr. Su has been a vice department director in his university in Hong Kong and he also is a tutor of the students who want to take their master degrees in many universities in Mainland. However, he still keeps his modesty and thoughtful as a good friend.
In the Nov., in 2000, when I started to learn to edit and translate a series of 4 books, 0.97million words from English into China in my free time. It was Mr. Su to be my Chinese translation consultant and he checked and corrected most of my translation and helped me publish the series in Oct.,2002. Until now, he does not accept one coin of the fee as a consultant yet.
In the past 8 years, Mr. Su is just like an "elder brother", very kind and gives people a safe feeling. We seldom connect via a telephone or an email. But, as long as Mr. Su knows that I am facing some problems too frustrated or need to help, he always try to do his best to offer a help...
 This is just Mr. Su ? One of my best cooperators, friends, English teachers as a kind "elder brother鈥�.:-)
I do hope Mr. Su and his wife and children happy and healthy, successful more and more on career as well.
