 LISTEN TO THE NEW WORDS & NEW SENTENCES
 2007 has been one of the best years in Chinese history with the economy of China maintaining the fast pace of development of the past several years. However, to prevent the economy from overheating and to prevent inflation, China will carry out a "tight" monetary policy and a "prudent" financial policy in 2008. So, today, I would like to introduce some new sentences about this topic. Also, you will learn about the position of time words in Chinese sentences.

NEW SENTENCES
No.0183: 2008綛鐚筝絨金腮喝茣у睡莪岩減膣х而茣у睡
-- China will shift its monetary policy "from prudent to tight" in 2008
No.0184: 紊腱茣у綏絨茴篋我膸羌菴鐚茣ц
-- Various monetary instruments should be used to prevent its economy from overheating and to try to contain accelerating inflation.
No.0185: 綛鐚筝絨膸х鮫絎盾腮喝茣∽炊睡
China will maintain a "prudent" fiscal policy for the coming year.
Note: As you can see from these sentences, when we use expressions of time such as this year, coming year or 2008, we usually put them at the beginning of a sentence and not at the end of a sentence as you do in English.
We can also say China 2008 what what , but not China what what in 2008 as in English. We usually do not put references to time on the end of sentences as you do in English.
So, an adverb of time can occur before the subject or after the subject, but not after a verb or an object. In other words, an adverb of time cannot be the end of a sentence in Chinese.
