I started to sing a solo from I was 5 or 6 years old on a bench or a stage. I had dreamed to be a musician and artist and everyone said I would be. However, the Culture Revolution started when I was 9 years old and I had not been singing until the day that my old brother was past when he was only 48 years old 2 years ago.

The death of my old brother made me realize that life is so weak and so short, made me slow down my steps on my career, study and try to re-think of the meaning of the life, to check up whole of my past life. What were the dreams that I had not made them to be true? What should I go over the rest road of my life? Just work and work? Study and study? Or I should make myself live as a real person and a real woman?

Along with the thinking and time, I re-started my learning on vocal music, piano, painting, photography and language... and now, I set up my own web sit.

I am not a professional musician, but, I would really like to learn music as a culture as a woman and also I do hope to help you to know something about Chinese culture via my songs and my music column on the web site.
