Title: Shirley Created Art 455 & Chinese Gongbi--028: Mid-Spring
Artist: Shirley Zhang
Size: 49cm x 32cm (19.23.inches x 12.60 inches) on Silk
Completed Time: Sep 29 - Nov 8, 2009
Remarks:
This is my 28thChinese Gongbi Painting and it is my 455th pictures since 2003, the 47th picture that I have created in 2009.

I started to create it with a pen Sep 30, on the airplane from NYC to Hong Kong and I completed the birds. Then from Shenzhen to Wuxi and Oct 29, I completed the trees, and I completed the first draft in my mother's sickroom this Tuesday, Nov 3.

This Saturday, after working in my office for whole of the morning, I corrected it and changed it to be a Chinese Baimiao on a piece of paper and silk with Chinese ink and brusher twice. Then I just colored it on Sunday.

I enjoyed the painting process indeed. It is just like the best medicine, has brought me a peaceful heart at the special time that my mother is in the hospital for her cancer and I had to fly back to Shenzhen on Wednesday for I had started headache and I knew that I must have a rest for a whole.

I do hope that you enjoy this painting and to bring you something beautiful...
