Title: Shirley's Art Works 762-& Xieyi 417-A127-Shirley's 161st Assignment in Chinese National Academy of Arts --Nov 19, 2012
Artist: Shirley Zhang
Size: 80cm x 149cm (31.49inches x 58.66inches ) - Chinese Ink on Paper
Completed Time: Nov 19, 2012
Remarks:
This is and my 762nd painting since 2003, the 418th Chinese Xieyi Painting, the 77th Landscape ( the 13st Chinese Ink Landscape), and my 161st assignment in Chinese National Academy of Arts since Oct 7, 2011.

This is the first painting after we moved into the new school address.

I learned to paint this painting from learn Mr.Tang Yin (1470–1524).

I worked on it for 8 days.

It has not offered heat in the new teaching building yet, and the air-condition does not work as well. There was only about 13 or 14 C degree in the classroom and outside was -2 to 10 degree, I had to work in the very thick clothes and I have felt that my bones have some response to the cold already.

Anyway, since the dormitory also is not offered heat and the light is dark for painting, I kept going to the classroom to complete this painting.

When I worked on it, I felt that my heart was quite peaceful and I wished that I could learn as mush as possible since it is so not easy to study in Beijing in the cold weather.

Almost all classmates who looked this painting said that I have done a good job. Someone said that they were surprised when they saw my beginning landscapes. :-)

How do you think of this painting? Do you enjoy it?
