Title: Shirley Created Art --Chinese Xieyi 0114: Good Morning
Artist: Shirley Zhang
Size: 70cm x 70cm
Completed Time: Thursday, Jan, 2007
Remarks:
This is my 114th Chinese Xieyi Painting that I created Thursday night.

Thursday afternoon, I went to our biggest shareholder’s building for a meeting, then, I went to the biggest art book store to buy 11 art books. So, I came back home in the dark.

In the night, when I wanted to read the book that I have to read for my research report for the company, I just realized that I had forgotten to take it back from my office. So, I was smiling to myself that I would have time to create a picture and to make more practice about bamboos. Also, for a long time, I have wanted to create a picture of chrysanthemum with Chinese Xieyi style. Because it is the most free way to create a picture -- to paint anything with a color brush directly, and does not allow making a draft before coloring it. :-)

I do feel this is the best way to paint for me since I am usually busy and there is no much time to paint. :-)

So, I created this picture and I was very happy for my own test -- I colored my bird with many colors and I enjoyed my own coloring style on the bird and the little flowers on the right and up part. But, when I was coloring my chrysanthemum, a telephone was calling me, I colored it while I was answering the telephone and I did not change my water in time so that the colors of the chrysanthemums seem like a little bit dirty... :-)

Also, I do feel that I should not paint a little bamboo on the right and down part... :-)

How do you think of this picture? Do you enjoy it?
