Title: My Sketch from Nature-135: Shirley's 262nd Assignment of Chinese National Academy of Arts -March 31, 2014
Artist: Shirley Yiping Zhang
Size: 35.00cm x 90.00cm (14.00 inches x 35.43inches) Pen on Sketchbook
Completed Time: March 31, 2014
Remarks:
This is my 1st pen sketch - painting from the nature at Chinese National Academy of Arts in Beijing, March 25, 26 and 31, 2014.

I mean I painted 3 times on it for about 5 hours. The first twice, I went to the streets to paint face the flowers, then I ordered it with pen in the classroom.

After I completed it basically with a pencil, it was lucky enough that in one of our classes, I got a good comment and directions face to face from Professor Liu Wanming -- the Associate Dean of Chinese Painting School of Chinese National Academy of Arts.

Kept his directions in my mind, I kept working out of the door, each day for 4 to 5 hours, even if the atmospheric haze hit Beijing...

How do you think of this sketch? Do you enjoy it?
