Title: Shirley's Art Works 648 & Chinese Gongbi-039-A27: Shirley's 20th Assignment in Chinese National Academy of Arts- Dec 1 - 4,2011
Artist: Shirley Zhang
Size: 26.00cm x 26.00cm (10.23 inches x 10.23inches) on Silk
Completed Time: Dec 4, 2011
Remarks:
This is my 648th painting since 2003and the 38th Chinese Gongbi Painting, also it is the 20th assignment that I have completed in Chinese National Academy of Arts .

I worked on this painting for about 40 hours.

In fact, I had worked on the other big size Chinese Gongbi painting for several days already. But, on Wednesday, when Dr. Wu Bing checked up it, he pointed out many problems on it. I did think that his comments were reasonable and helpful. Therefore, I stopped to work on it temporarily and went back to work on this little painting.

I would like to find some feelings about the sparrows, then go back to the big size painting.

First time, I used the water of glutin + alum to fix the colors and I would like to know whole of the steps of a Chinese Gongbi Painting.

How do you think of this painting, do you enjoy it?
