Title: Shirley Created Art 456 & Chinese Bai Miao--034: Mid-spring
Artist: Shirley Zhang
Size: 49cm x 32cm (19.23.inches x 12.60 inches) on Silk
Completed Time: Sep 29 - Nov 7, 2009
Remarks:
This is my 456th Painting since 2003 and the 34th Chinese Bai Mao.

As soon I finishing the hard studying in the US, I recovered my habit to take my sketch book with me. I created many birds as a practice on the airplane from NYC to Hong Kong from Sep 30 to Oct 1.

Suddenly, I had an idea to make these birds together and to create a Chinese Baimiao, then a Chinese Gongbi.

So, I created the birds ok in my sketch book in that trip.

Last weekend, on the other airplane from Shenzhen to Wuxi, I match these birds some trees and flowers and I completed the draft in my mother's sickroom.

This Saturday, I re-drafted it on paper and I corrected it and created this Maimiao on the sick.

How do you think of this Baimiao? Do you like it?
