Remarks:
Mr. He Wenjian is from Amsterdam, Holland. He was one of my classmates in China Central Academy of Fine Arts. Mr. He majored in oil in Hong Kong before going to Europe then he came to Beijing to study Chinese painting after he completed his career in Flight Meal industry. He is one of the students who worked hardest and be respected very much in the class.
On the last day of our study in China Central Academy of Fine Arts, I would like to invite all of the 37 classmates to have a lunch and in the nick of time, Mr. He wanted to do the same thing. Then both of us worked together and treated all of the 37 classmates to have a lunch by standing 50% of the costs respectively to thank all of them for their good treatment and help. :- )
March 16, 2015, after composing a piece of music for a classical poem for my new book, I went to see my cell phone (when I worked or studied, instead of putting it by my hand, always I put it in the other room for I did not want it to interrupt my train of thought), then I found 4 missed phone calls from Mr. He Wenjian.
In case the last phone call was made about 10 minutes ago so, at once I called him back and knew that he had come to Hong Kong and he would like to go to the inland of China through the customs between Hong Kong and Shenzhen while to see me by the way if I was available.
As usual, I was quite busy, but I should meet and treat a classmate from far away Europe. So, I said I would like to welcome him by inviting him to have a meal.
Then we had a good talking for about 2.5 hours.
I was very glad for Mr. He had an art exhibition in the most famous art museum with a local oil artist together in Holland in 2014. Right now, he is working on combining both of China painting and Chinese calligraphy together. Try to "paint " some Chinese characters with his own style. Now an American Professor in Beijing would like to make a cooperation with him.
After finishing the meal, I asked a waitress taking this photo for us as a memory.
Since I have been to Amsterdam and both of us’ current work has a few places similar, maybe some day we can do something helpful and meaningful in Europe together.
Anyway, Mr. He has invited me to paint from nature in Europe or to learn from one of the most famous artist in Holland some day. :-)
