Remarks:
This is my 678thChinese Xieyi Painting and my 1198th painting since 2003and My 483rd assignment and 87th painting in the study of the second phase as a candidate of Degree of Master of Fine Arts of Chinese National Academy of Arts.
Also it is the 126th painting I have painted in the USA since 2008 and the 6th painting in my 7th American travel.
I drafted the two people for my painting before I went to Mediacom to my bill and then to go to OTC to register for taking part in their English examination in Jan for being a student there.
Then I continued my painting after I came back home...
Although I have given up an unexpected travel to go back Beijing for taking part in my Thesis- Proposal Conference at the Graduate School at Chinese National Academy of Arts for my hurt ankle and a serious allergy, if is full of my paper in my mind, so that I had been discussing the topic with my tutor-supervisor in my dream... So, when I was painting, I was thinking, maybe I should write two dissertations during the paper writing time in the upcoming 2.5 years? One is for my own cross-culture and comprehensive art dream which I would like to pursue and work on for whole of my rest of life, but cannot be accepted by the school; the other is just for my master degree which I must follows the convention of the school ? After all, my tutor told me seriously, if I was a student of language or literature college, what I would get a big A for my creative thought, but, since I am a student of art college, I should follow the rule of the art school and focus myself on painting…
Although I can understand little about the manage style of Chinese education, and I feel as if that I am tied so much so that I am thinking maybe it was wrong to choose to take my second master degree by taking part in 3 national English with so hard way ?
Anyway, as long as I can paint, my heart is getting much better...
I do enjoy the process of talking with the people and the nature things in my painting. I do feel the feeling is much better than to discuss something such as how to follow the rule of the school for a degree of MFA... :-)
