Exactly speaking, it is in fact not a draft of Chinese Baimiao. I had an idea to create an American Cultural Map Series in my English lesson at OTC in the USA in Nov, 2015. Then I started the draft for the first painting of the series June 1. After working on it for 40 days, I drafted it twice with Pencil and Chinese ink. Now it is not a Chinese Baimiao painting, but a draft for a Chinese Baimiao painting. Four of my tutors in Chinese Traditional Painting Academy commented my painting and gave me directions 6 times in the past 40 days. Now I have made 4 models with 4 sizes. The biggest one is 648cm x 414cm ( 255inches x 162.99inches). I would like to complete creations with 3 or 4 maps and 3 or 4 art albums /books in the upcoming 3 years at the same time to work on the other things. How do you think of my idea? Do you enjoy it?
