Remarks:
This is my 553rdChinese Xieyi Painting and my 1023rd painting since 2003, the 391st assignment of Chinese National Academy of Arts.

I painted this painting first time in 2012 but I have been feeling where not right so that the rooster is not full of energy in my mind.

Therefore, last March 3, before I left for China, rather than I gave a golden pheasant to one of my former classmates for thanks his good help, instead of giving this painting to him even though I knew I should because his Chinese zodiac is a rooster.

I would really like to find the reasons and to re-paint it and I would really like to give something best to the others at that phrase of my working.

With this idea, I would like to call back some of my old paintings that I had given people and to give them something new to do an exchange.

So, this week, before I started my job, I checked more than 200 pictures of roosters on the Internet, then I made sure that when a rooster is singing, its tail should be up, but on my former painting, the tail was down...

With an excited heart, I changed the tail of my rooster... Then I got a good comment of my tutor; and almost all of my classmates who looked at this painting thought I have done a good job. :-)

How do you think of this painting? Do you enjoy it?

If you have any questions, comments or suggestions, welcome to write to shirley@ebridge.cn,you can also publish your opinions on Message Board . :-)
