Title: Shirley's Daily Chinese Painting Practices-17- Art Works 1008-Xieyi-540-A320- Shirley's 378th Assignment at Chinese National Academy of Arts-June 13, 2015
Artist:
Size:
Completed Time: June 13, 2015
Remarks:
This is my 540thChinese Xieyi Painting and my 1008th painting since 2003, the 378th assignment of Chinese National Academy of Arts.

Base on the study in Beijing for 5 years and the study from my private tutor for 8 years, now, I come back to the beginning to practice bamboo as my daily practice. I do feel it is quite necessary and gives me much inspiration to re-feel the working methods of Chinese painting with ink, brush and lines.

So, now, every morning, I painted bamboo and 3 or 4 hours and every day I use at least 14 or 15 pieces of paper. Then to paint one or two art works.

I means I practice on the leaves, branches and flowers many times with Chinese ink and brushes many times, then to paint a picture.

This is just my 17th daily painting practice since May 31, 2015.

How do you think of it? Do you enjoy it?
