Title: Shirley's Art Works 846 & Chinese Xieyi 443-A208 - Shirley's 236th Assignment of Chinese National Academy of Arts -Nov 09, 2013-completed in USA
Artist: Shirley Yiping Zhang
Size: 67.00cm x 33.00cm (26.23 inches x 12.99 inches -- the round part)
Completed Time: Nov. 09, 2013
Remarks:
This is my 443rd Chinese Xieyi Painting and my 846th painting since 2003, the 236th assignment of Chinese National Academy of Arts.

Also it is the 14th painting I completed in my travel in USA.

I started this painting at about 1:00am, Nov 9, 2013.

In fact, at about 8:00pm, Nov, 8, 2013, I had completed the first special gift for the organizer Conference of Southwest District Art Teachers Association who had given me an opportunity to share my art works and ideas with the local American art teachers, which I have not met yet for thanking him or her good far-sight from the Southwest District Art Teachers Association.

Then, until about 1:00am when I prepared to sleep, suddenly I thought, this event would be held in Drury University, therefore, it seemed like I should prepare two gifts for the two organizers. Therefore, even though I was a little bit sleepy, I started this painting at 1:00am.

When I finished it, I would have only about 4 hours to sleep. However, still I kept ordering the paper, cleaned the color dishes and dried them and put them into my bag and took out of the brushes for the art teachers for the next day's painting of them. Even though because of the time, they could not be able to paint, I had done my best...

Then, after the work of mine next morning, I sent this painting to Mr. Riann Lubinski the president of the Southwest District Art Teachers Association as a memory to thank her for her good help.

How do you think of this painting? Compare the two paintings as the gifts, which one is a little bit better in your opinion?
