Title: My Sketch from Nature-130(the Second One in USA): Shirley's 233rd Assignment of Chinese National Academy of Arts -Oct 04, 2013
Artist: Shirley Yiping Zhang
Size: 27.00cm x 27.cm (10.62inches x 10.62inches) Pen on Sketchbook
Completed Time: Oct 04, 2013
Remarks:
This is my 2nd pen sketch from nature in Springfield, USA Oct 04, 2013.

One day, when I went across the gymnasium of Missouri State University, I found some yellow flowers by the wall, I was impression on they were full of vigour and the beautiful feature among the green grass. I did want to paint them soon. But I did feel that my sketch book that I had bought from Wal-mart on the second day I reached in Springfield was a little bit small to paint.

So, on a Friday, Oct 4, 2013, as soon as I finished the meeting with Dr. Jessica, I went to the art shop on the National Ava near the school and bought a new sketch book. Then I painted this painting by sitting on the stone by the wall of my apartment.

I would also like to copy it on a piece of Chinese Shu Xuan Paper with a pencil, then to paint it with Chinese Ink to be a Chinese Baimiao, or continue to color it to be a Chinese Goingbi Painting.

How do you think of this sketch? Do you enjoy it?
