Title: My Sketch from Nature-107: Shirley's 67th Assignment in Chinese National Academy of Arts -April 27, 2012
Artist: Shirley Zhang
Size: 41.00cm x 31 (20.05inches x 16.14inches) Pen on Sketchbook
Completed Time: April 27, 2012
Remarks:
This is my 16th sketch from nature since April 7 and I painted it in Beijing Botanical Garden April 27, 2012.

After I completed the first sketch in Beijing Botanical Garden, I felt quite tired and I wanted to go back home. But, since it is very far away from my school, since I did enjoy the flowers and I did not think that I have master the structure between the wood part and the herbage part of the peonies, especially, I wanted to see and to remember the wood parts of it since this is the part I felt strangest.

So, I went to have a rest in a little shop and than I went back to paint another painting.

Anyway, you cannot imagine how many hours that I used to recovered from the tired of the 7 hours' work in the Beijing botanical garden? 15 hours + 2 painkillers. :-)

Anyway, I am really glad for the short trip, as soon as I feel ok on my body, I will go there once more... and try to learn more about peonies before it has withered...

How do you think of this sketch? Do you enjoy it?

If you have any questions, comments or suggestions, welcome to write to shirley@ebridge.cn or shirleyz004@yahoo.com ,you can also publish your opinions on Message Board . :-)
