Title: Shirley's Art Works 620-A11 & Chinese Xieyi 333: Good Luck! -Shirley Painted It July 28-30, 2011
Artist: Shirley Zhang
Size: 138.00 cm x 35.00 cm ( 54.33 inches x 13.77 inches)
Completed Time: July 30, 2011
Remarks:
This is my 333rd Chinese Xieyi Painting and my 620 painting since 2003, the 7th painting after I left from China Central Academy of Fine Arts since July 12, 2011.

The pronunciation of chick in Chinese is Ji, it is same as Ji Xiang -- Luck. So, in Chinese culture, artists enjoy sending the others a painting of chicks to express the good wish to hope the people who accept the painting happy and lucky.

So, this week, I painted this painting to express the same meaning. I do hope those kind people in the world will be happy and lucky forever.

How do you think of this painting? Do you enjoy it?
