Remarks:
This is and my 590th painting since 2003, the 316th Chinese Xieyi Painting, the 46th Landscape ( the 4th Chinese Ink Landscape), and my 70th assignment in China Central Academy of Fine Art.
The most importance is that this is my first painting from the nature.
After a travel by bus for 8 hours, we received in the base of the painting from the nature in Shangdong province at about 7:30p.m. Friday, April 1, 2011.
Before Professor Li Tiesheng reached the base and saw my assignment on April 4, every day, I painted 1 or 2 paintings, and I thought that I was ok.
After listening to the first comments of Prof. Li, I realized that I did not really know the necessary knowledge and skills to paint from the nature. Therefore, I restarted to work according to the directions of Prof. Li, painted in the cold wind outside for 2 days, I completed my first painting from the nature.
I know there are many problems in the painting, the biggest problem is that I have not known how to express the landscape with Chinese brushes yet. So, I am going to learn to write Chinese chaligraphy as Ptof. Li asked me to do, to improve my basic skill.
